Canadian firm sends second team of
Trauma Counsellors to New York

TORONTO, September 20, 2001:
TORONTO, September 20, 2001: The emotional impact of the World Trade Center attack continues to take its toll on survivors, their families and others who are serving in New York. FGIworld, a leading international 'EAP' (Employee Assistance Programs) firm based in Toronto, has sent in a second team of 27 trauma counsellors to New York City. This team will augment the much-needed, trauma debriefing team of 22 counsellors that FGIworld sent into New York last Friday. This second FGIworld team will also free up two members to aid in volunteer trauma debriefing for anyone in need.

FGIworld has several corporate clients who were affected by the September 11 terrorist attack, including major financial services organizations. Both FGIworld trauma teams consist of child psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers and other experts who are specially trained in dealing with people suffering from intense trauma.

"FGIworld's Canadian Trauma Response Team is strongly committed to helping the people of New York and the tri-state area." says Bill Tibbo, who leads FGIworld's Global Disaster Management Team. "It has been challenging work for the team so far but response to our presence here has been extremely positive. From our clients, who were so hard hit by last week's disaster. From their employees and families. And from people on the streets. We are proud to be here."

Tibbo says that over the next week the FGIworld teams will also be counselling the children of the families who were affected. "Several companies have graciously donated crayons, paper and small stuffed toys to our trauma team to help with their counselling of the children," he said. "The kids are being asked to draw pictures and to use the toys to help express their feelings."

Allon Bross, President and CEO of FGIworld, has also joined the second team in New York. He will provide support to the trauma teams and personally ensure that both their needs and those of clients and their employees are being met. Mr. Bross, a counsellor himself, has been extremely hands-on in organizing FGIworld's trauma response efforts.

FGIworld is dedicated to providing leading-edge, human-resource programs and web-based solutions in the areas of Disaster Management, Trauma Response, Global Relocation Services, International Employee Assistance Programs, and Disability Management Programs. FGIworld's 1,800 organizational clients employ three million people around the world.
